Best measuring cup so far. I use both the 4-cup and the 2-cup, whilst my old stand-bys (also Pyrex) collect dust.
The read from above works very well and there doesn't seem to be any of that parallax view problem like with standard measuring cups.
I have noticed, though, that when pouring thinnish water-like liquids from it you need pour slowly enough to keep the liquid channeled within the pouring spout, or large amounts will flow over the rim and down the outside of the measuring cup, pooling below its bottom. You may as well be pouring from a large drinking glass.

I had the straight sided 4 cup Pyrex, which broke. And when I decided to replace it, I decided to try the sloped sided one since the straight sided one had a spout that you could only pour from very slowly and carefully--and I always had at least a bit of spill. Well, this one is worse. I'm so tired of spilling hot liquid all over the stovetop when I try to pour from the cup. As a cooking or mixing implement, OK, as a pitcher, no good.

I got this measuring cup to makes pancakes in. It has enough room in it to add the mix, water and eggs and then mix it all together in the measuring cup so you dont have to get another bowl dirty. It works pretty well and pouring from it is pretty clean. Overall pretty satisfied.
